New Energy Cooperation Between Türkiye and Iraq
The governments of Türkiye and Iraq have initiated critical energy talks aimed at strengthening economic relations between the two countries. This new cooperation in the energy sector aims to utilize regional resources more efficiently and increase energy security.
The new decisions signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are of great importance for Türkiye's energy strategy. The discussions focused particularly on the development of infrastructure projects related to oil and natural gas shipments. These steps are expected to contribute to the diversification of Türkiye's energy supply.
In addition to energy projects, various protocols are being considered to increase the trade volume between the two countries. Officials stated that this cooperation will not be limited to energy alone, but will also include new transportation and trade routes that will support regional development.
With these strategic moves, Türkiye aims to strengthen its goal of becoming an energy hub in the region. It is planned that the details of the signed agreements will be shared with the public in the coming days and that the implementation process of the projects will begin rapidly.
