Health Minister Memişoğlu: Digital Transformation in Healthcare Services is Accelerating
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu made important statements regarding Turkey's digitalization efforts in the field of healthcare. Minister Memişoğlu stated that the projects carried out under the "Health Türkiye" brand aim to facilitate citizens' access to healthcare services.
The Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS) developed by the Ministry enables the management of healthcare services in a digital environment. Thanks to this system, patients can make appointments with specialist physicians and healthcare facilities across 79 different branches. These processes, carried out through digital channels, make hospital operations more efficient.
The system is used not only for local patients but also to increase Turkey's health tourism potential. The "Health Türkiye" brand aims to attract more foreign patients to choose Turkey by promoting the country's healthcare infrastructure on international platforms.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that investments in digitalization will continue in the coming period. With the strengthening of the technological infrastructure, the goal is to reduce waiting times in appointment processes and increase the quality of healthcare services.
