Health Minister Memişoğlu: Digital Transformation in Healthcare Services is Accelerating
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu evaluated Turkey's service capacity and digitalization efforts in the field of healthcare. Minister Memişoğlu stated that the projects carried out under the "Health Türkiye" brand aim to facilitate citizens' access to healthcare services.
The Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS), one of the ministry's most important projects, is becoming more comprehensive by the day. Thanks to this system, patients can book appointments with specialist physicians in 79 different branches and at various healthcare facilities.
Within the scope of digitalization efforts, appointment processes are managed entirely through digital channels. This practice aims to both reduce the waiting time patients spend in hospitals and make the functioning of the healthcare system more efficient.
The Ministry of Health aims to make Turkey a global hub in terms of health tourism and service quality by strengthening this digital infrastructure. Citizens will continue to be able to easily carry out their appointment procedures via mobile applications and the internet.
