A New Era in Digital Health Services from the Ministry of Health
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu made important statements regarding the "Health Türkiye" brand, which was developed to promote Turkey's health services to the world. The Ministry announced that it has accelerated its digitalization efforts to facilitate access to healthcare services.
Minister Memişoğlu stated that the scope of the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS) has been expanded. Citizens can now manage appointment processes for specialist physicians and health facilities across 79 different branches quickly and easily through fully digital channels.
This digitalization move aims to both accelerate treatment processes for patients in Turkey and strengthen health tourism through the "Health Türkiye" brand. The system aims to increase the efficiency of health services by reducing bureaucracy in the appointment scheduling process.
The Ministry of Health plans to continue developing its technological infrastructure to bring citizens' access to health services to a more modern level. This new system is expected to provide great convenience for both domestic patients and foreign patients who choose Turkey to receive healthcare services.
