Defense Industry President Görgün's Assessment of Teknofest Blue Homeland
President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün attended the Blue Homeland (Mavi Vatan) events held as part of Teknofest, Turkey's technology and aviation festival. Görgün closely examined the domestic and national projects exhibited there and received information about the ongoing efforts.
Speaking during the event, Prof. Dr. Görgün emphasized the importance of increasing the localization rate in Turkey's defense industry. He noted that technological developments, particularly in the maritime field, enhance the country's strategic power. He expressed that the interest of young people in technology is a great source of hope for future defense projects.
Teknofest Blue Homeland events bring unmanned marine vehicles and modern defense systems, developed to protect Turkey's rights and interests at sea, to the public. Visitors have the opportunity to see these high-tech products, designed by local engineers, up close.
