A New Era in Digital Health Services from the Ministry of Health
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu made important statements regarding the "Health Türkiye" brand, which was created to promote Turkey's healthcare services to the world. Minister Memişoğlu stated that Turkey's digitalization efforts in the field of health are continuing rapidly.
Within the scope of the work carried out by the Ministry, the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS) has been made more modern and efficient. Citizens can now easily manage their appointment processes with specialist physicians in 79 different branches and at various healthcare facilities entirely through digital channels.
This digitalization step aims to both reduce waiting times for patients in hospitals and make access to healthcare services more practical. Thanks to the developed infrastructure, the goal is to increase the quality of healthcare services and ensure that processes are conducted in a more transparent manner.
With the "Health Türkiye" brand, Turkey plans to provide high-standard services not only to its own citizens but also to patients coming from abroad within the scope of health tourism. The Ministry emphasizes that with the widespread adoption of digital systems, efficiency in healthcare services will be maximized.
