Statement from the Ministry of Health Regarding the Digital Appointment System
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu made important statements regarding Turkey's digitalization efforts in the field of health. Minister Memişoğlu stated that the projects carried out under the "Health Türkiye" brand aim to facilitate citizens' access to healthcare services.
The Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS) offered by the Ministry stands out as one of the most important steps in the digitalization of healthcare services. Thanks to this system, patients can manage their appointment processes quickly and securely online before going to hospitals.
The system provides services in a total of 79 different branches across Turkey. Citizens can actively use digital channels to make appointments with specialist physicians and from various healthcare facilities. This application aims to reduce congestion in hospitals and increase the quality of service.
The Ministry of Health emphasizes that it will continue to improve its digital infrastructure and make health technologies more efficient. With the "Health Türkiye" vision, the goal is to make healthcare services more accessible both locally and internationally.
