A New Study on Think Tanks in Turkey and Relations with the US
A new study examining the foreign policy approaches of think tanks in Turkey has been published. This project, titled 'Matrix,' scrutinizes 21 different think tanks and policy foundations operating in Turkey. The research aims to analyze the relationships and perspectives these institutions have regarding the United States (US).
An interactive map prepared as part of the project visualizes the stances of these institutions toward US policies. The study provides significant data for understanding the ideological positions and strategic approaches of these organizations. Furthermore, the career paths of the experts working at these institutions and the movement of personnel between them are also examined.
Experts state that such research is valuable for understanding Turkey's foreign policy vision. Think tanks play a critical role in governments' decision-making processes and in the stages of shaping public opinion. For this reason, the transparent analysis of these institutions' relationships with global actors like the US is being met with interest in academic circles.
In conclusion, this study helps us get a closer look at the complex relationship that policymakers and the academic world in Turkey have with the US. The data presented by the research offers clues as to how future diplomatic relations might be shaped. The project is expected to bring a new perspective to Turkey's foreign policy debates.
