New Defense Cooperation Between Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan
The Saudi Arabian Council of Ministers brought an important decision to the agenda during the latest meeting chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed regarding the progress made in the "Mecca Joint Defense Pact" efforts carried out with Türkiye and Pakistan.
This defense pact aims to strengthen military cooperation among the three countries. Within the scope of the agreement, it is planned that the countries will develop joint strategies in the field of security and increase their regional defense capabilities. In particular, new steps are expected to be taken in the areas of the defense industry and military training.
For Türkiye, this development is seen as an important opportunity to deepen its strategic partnerships in the Middle East and Asia. Experts state that Türkiye's domestic production power in the defense industry plays a key role in such international collaborations.
The details and implementation schedule of the project have not yet been fully announced. However, it is stated that the parties will work closely to maintain regional security and stability. Officials from the three countries are expected to come together in the coming days to discuss the next stages of the cooperation.
