Authorities also performed the necessary checks against tsunami risk and announced that there was no negative situation.
Japan is known as one of the countries with the most intense seismic activity in the world. For this reason, buildings in the country are constructed to be extremely earthquake-resistant. Furthermore, the public regularly receives training on what to do in the event of an earthquake.
Consequently, this 6.9 magnitude tremor was weathered without leading to any disaster, thanks to Japan's prepared infrastructure. It was reported that daily life in the region has returned to normal and no disruptions have occurred in transportation lines.
