Turkish Success at the World Endurance Championship: Racing Team Turkey at the Top
The World Endurance Championship (WEC) 6 Hours race, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was the scene of great excitement. The race drew the attention of the motorsport world both for the fierce competition in the general classification and for the performance displayed by Turkish teams.
In the general classification, the BMW team achieved a significant victory in the Hypercar class, leaving its strong rival Ferrari behind. Making strategic moves throughout the race, the BMW drivers strengthened their championship claims by seeing the checkered flag in first place.
Racing Team Turkey, competing for Turkey, reached first place with its superior performance in the LMGT3 class. Despite the challenging track conditions, the team managed to leave its rivals behind with disciplined driving. Our national athlete Ayhancan Güven, who also competed in the same race, finished in fourth place, delivering a successful performance.
These results once again proved the rise of Turkish teams and athletes in international endurance racing. Racing fans are eagerly awaiting the performance that Turkish representatives will display in the upcoming stages.
