Health Minister Memişoğlu: Digital Transformation in Healthcare Services is Accelerating
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu evaluated Turkey's service capacity and digitalization efforts in the field of health. Minister Memişoğlu stated that projects carried out under the "Health Türkiye" brand, in particular, aim to strengthen the country's position in health tourism.
The Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS), developed by the Ministry, stands out as one of the most important digital tools facilitating access to healthcare services. Thanks to this system, citizens can quickly book appointments with specialist physicians in 79 different branches and at various healthcare facilities through digital channels.
The digitalization process not only provides ease in booking appointments but also increases the efficiency of healthcare facilities. Ministry officials state that this system strengthens communication between patients and physicians and aims to reduce waiting times in healthcare services.
With these modernization efforts in its healthcare infrastructure, Turkey aims to provide higher quality services to the local population while also becoming a preferred healthcare hub internationally. The Ministry of Health announced that it will continue to develop digital infrastructure and integrate new technologies into the system in the coming period.
