New Laser Weapon System for Air Defense from MKE
The Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE) has developed a new technology to strengthen Turkey's air defense capabilities. The company announced that it has prepared a special 'Laser Weapon System' to be integrated into existing air defense systems.
This new system aims to provide more effective protection against aerial threats. Laser technology offers a fast and precise defense capability, particularly against unmanned aerial vehicles and other low-altitude threats.
The system's features are not limited to the laser weapon alone. To make this defense network even more robust, MKE has also incorporated acoustic detection systems and ENFAL-17 missiles into the system. Through this integration, the goal is to detect and neutralize threats at an earlier stage.
Turkey's domestic production initiatives in the defense industry have been taken a step further with this new system. These technologies developed by MKE are expected to make significant contributions to the operational power of the Turkish Armed Forces.
