A New Era in Digital Health Services from the Ministry of Health
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu made important statements regarding the "Health Türkiye" brand, which was created to promote Turkey's strength in the field of health to the world. Minister Memişoğlu stated that they attach great importance to digitalization in Turkey's health system.
Within the scope of the work carried out by the Ministry, the services offered through the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS) continue to be improved. Citizens can now easily book appointments with specialist physicians and health facilities in 79 different branches through digital channels.
This digitalization move aims to both accelerate patients' access to health services and make the operations in health facilities more efficient. The Ministry of Health aims to provide higher quality service to citizens by strengthening its technological infrastructure.
With the "Health Türkiye" brand, Turkey also plans to become more visible in the international arena in the field of health tourism. The Ministry aims to use Turkey's health capacity more effectively at both local and global levels with the convenience provided by digital systems.
