A New Step for Energy Cooperation Between Türkiye and Iraq
A new era is beginning in the diplomatic and economic relations between Türkiye and Iraq. With the new decisions signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, steps have been taken to strengthen energy cooperation between the two countries. This development holds great importance in terms of energy security and economic development in the region.
In the discussions held, issues such as energy transmission lines and the efficient use of natural resources came to the forefront. Türkiye aims to increase its energy supply security by developing cross-border energy projects with Iraq. Officials from both countries stated that these projects would play a critical role in both meeting Türkiye's energy needs and ensuring regional stability.
Furthermore, the value of the Turkish passport and the country's position in the international arena remain on the agenda. The government continues its diplomatic efforts to facilitate international travel for citizens and to increase the global validity of the passport. This process aims to support Türkiye's active role in foreign policy.
In conclusion, the strategic partnerships Türkiye has established with its neighbors offer new opportunities from both economic and political perspectives. This new cooperation in the energy sector will make significant contributions to Türkiye's goal of becoming a regional energy hub in the coming period.
