Captured After 13 Years: Bank Executive Found in the US
A bank executive who had been wanted for many years in Turkey has been captured in an operation carried out in the United States. Derya Dikici, who worked as an executive at a private bank, had disappeared approximately 13 years ago after stealing 1.8 million dollars from the bank.
This theft case, which caused a great stir at the time, occupied the Turkish agenda for a long time. After taking the money, Dikici managed to cover her tracks, and an international arrest warrant was issued for her. Authorities had been continuing their efforts to locate the suspect for years.
