Trade Target Between Türkiye and Italy Grows
Economic relations between Türkiye and Italy continue to strengthen with each passing day. The trade volume between the two countries has surpassed the 30 billion dollar mark due to its successful performance in the recent period.
Looking at the 2024 data, it is observed that the trade volume is approaching the 32.5 billion dollar level. This increase reveals how efficiently the economic cooperation between the two countries is progressing.
The governments of Türkiye and Italy are taking new steps to further advance this successful picture. In the meetings between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Prime Minister of Italy, the development of trade relations is among the priority agenda items.
Officials have set a new target for the total trade volume between the two countries by maintaining the current momentum. Accordingly, it is aimed that trade between Türkiye and Italy will reach 40 billion dollars in the near future.
This target means new opportunities for both the Turkish and Italian business worlds. The strong diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries are expected to increase mutual investments in the coming period.
