Strategic Partnership Between Türkiye and Azerbaijan Examined in an Academic Work
The Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) has shared a new study with the public that focuses on the bilateral relations and partnership between Türkiye and Azerbaijan. This comprehensive work, titled "Azerbaijan and Türkiye in World Politics," examines in detail the historical roots of the ties between the two countries and their strategic importance today.
The book analyzes not only the cultural and linguistic proximity of Türkiye and Azerbaijan but also their cooperation in global politics. In particular, the joint policies pursued by the two countries in energy, the defense industry, and regional security form the main focal points of the work. This study aims to present the depth of the relations between the two countries to readers from an academic perspective.
In the work, the support that Türkiye and Azerbaijan have provided to each other throughout the historical process and the effects of this support on regional stability are emphasized. It is explained with examples how the understanding of "one nation, two states" between the two countries has transformed into concrete projects within the framework of modern diplomacy and international relations. These analyses serve as an important resource for understanding the geopolitical balances in the region.
In conclusion, this academic study shows that the relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan focus not only on the past but also on the future. Prepared for both researchers and readers interested in regional politics, this work is considered an important step in understanding the place of the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries in world politics.
