Donetsk's Shakhtar to use Champions League matches to support Ukraine's economy
Football club Shakhtar is preparing for new matches in the UEFA Champions League. In addition to sporting goals, the team plans to carry out an important social mission. The club intends to use the popularity of the tournament to draw the European community's attention to the situation in Ukraine and call on foreign partners to cooperate.
During the European cup matches, Shakhtar plans to organize special events for business representatives. The main goal of these initiatives is to demonstrate Ukraine's investment potential even in difficult times. The club wants to show that supporting the Ukrainian economy is an important step for the stability of the entire region.
Team representatives note that sport is a powerful tool of diplomacy today. Thanks to match broadcasts reaching a million-strong audience, Shakhtar plans to spread information about opportunities for business development in Ukraine. This will help attract new investments, which are necessary for the country's recovery and the maintenance of its resilience.
This initiative has received support among fans and public organizations. Many believe that such an approach will help strengthen ties between Ukrainian entrepreneurs and European companies. It is expected that the first results of these activities will become noticeable after the conclusion of the upcoming Champions League rounds.
