Ukrainian farmers may lose 10 billion dollars due to the difficult situation in the industry
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports a critical situation in the agricultural sector. Due to a number of adverse factors, Ukrainian farmers are facing the threat of significant financial losses, which could reach 10 billion dollars.
According to the Minister of Agrarian Policy, the current state of affairs in the agricultural sector is the most difficult in recent years. The main causes of this crisis are the consequences of the full-scale war, in particular mined fields, logistical difficulties with the export of products, and constant shelling of infrastructure.
In addition, farmers are facing the problem of low grain prices on the world market and high production costs. Many farms are currently operating on the verge of profitability, which threatens the conduct of future sowing campaigns and the overall food security of the country.
The state is trying to find ways to support producers, but the scale of the problem requires comprehensive solutions. Experts note that the loss of such a sum of money will significantly affect the economy of Ukraine, as agriculture remains one of the key sectors that fill the country's budget.
Currently, the government is negotiating with international partners to obtain additional assistance for farmers. The future of the harvest and the financial stability of farmers will depend on the security situation in the regions and the ability to ensure stable routes for the export of Ukrainian products abroad.
