Ukrainian Red Cross helped over 74,000 people in six months
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society has released a report on its activities for the first half of 2026. According to official data, more than 74,000 citizens received assistance through health support and disease prevention programs.
The main goal of these initiatives is to improve Ukrainians' access to medical information and basic services under difficult conditions. The organization focused on educating the public on disease prevention methods and providing necessary support to those who need it most.
The measures carried out by Red Cross volunteers and specialists covered various regions of the country. The programs included consultations, information campaigns, and practical sessions that help people better take care of their own health in conditions of prolonged stress and limited resources.
This work is part of the organization's large-scale strategy aimed at strengthening the healthcare system at the local level. Thanks to the efforts of specialists, thousands of Ukrainians were able to receive timely advice and the necessary resources to protect their bodies from infections and other threats.
Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society note that they will continue their activities in the future. They plan to expand the range of services to reach even more people who need medical assistance and support during this difficult time.
