Red Cross provides assistance to those affected by the massive shelling of Kyiv
Recently, Kyiv once again became the target of a massive missile strike by Russia. As a result of the attack, fires broke out in several districts of the capital, including Sviatoshynskyi, and significant damage to civilian infrastructure and residential buildings was recorded.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are working promptly at the scenes. They are eliminating the consequences of the strikes and conducting search and rescue operations to help people who were trapped under rubble or injured by the blast wave.
Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society have also joined in the efforts to address the consequences of the attack. Volunteers and specialists from the organization are providing first aid to the victims and supplying people with warm clothing and psychological support during this difficult time.
Local authorities and emergency services are urging Kyiv residents not to ignore air raid alerts and to remain in shelters during danger. Work to clear the rubble and assess the damage caused is ongoing, and specialists are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of the city's residents.
