Ministry of Health and World Bank strengthen support for Ukraine's medical system
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the World Bank have announced an expansion of their cooperation. The main goal of this partnership is to modernize the country's medical system and improve the quality of services for patients during these challenging wartime conditions.
One of the main priorities of the new program will be the development of a long-term care system. This is especially important for war veterans who require specialized medical care and long-term rehabilitation following their injuries.
In addition to assisting veterans, the parties plan to focus on the issue of medical personnel. The program includes measures aimed at supporting doctors and medical staff to ensure the stable operation of hospitals across the country.
Cooperation with the World Bank will allow for the attraction of necessary investments to upgrade medical infrastructure. This will help make medical services more accessible and effective for all citizens of Ukraine, regardless of the region in which they reside.
Thus, the joint efforts of the Ministry of Health and international partners are aimed at creating a resilient healthcare system. This is an important step toward ensuring proper treatment and support for Ukrainians in the long term.
