WHO: Three medical aid warehouses destroyed in Ukraine over three months
The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported significant losses of humanitarian aid in Ukraine. Over the past three months, three warehouses containing essential medical supplies have been completely destroyed as a result of hostilities.
These facilities were used by international organizations to store medicines, medical instruments, and consumables. These resources were intended to support hospitals and assist the civilian population affected by the war.
The destruction of the warehouses significantly complicates the work of medical personnel in regions where active fighting is ongoing. The loss of medical supplies creates additional challenges for a healthcare system that is already operating under extreme strain.
Currently, WHO representatives are assessing the scale of the damage and seeking ways to restore the supply of necessary medicines. The organization continues to work toward ensuring that Ukrainians receive medical assistance, despite the constant threats to the security of humanitarian shipments.
