Russian attack in Kyiv region: three pharmaceutical warehouses damaged
Overnight, Russian forces carried out another attack on the Kyiv region. Three large logistics complexes, which provided the supply of medicines throughout Ukraine, were hit by the enemy strike.
According to local authorities, fires broke out at the warehouses as a result of the hits. Rescue services promptly arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames. Specialists are currently assessing the scale of the destruction and determining the volume of destroyed products.
These warehouses played an important role in supplying hospitals and pharmacies with medicine. Representatives of pharmaceutical companies have already stated that they are working to find alternative supply routes to avoid a shortage of critical drugs for patients.
Military administrations remind residents of the need to follow safety rules during air raid alerts. Information regarding casualties and the detailed consequences of the attack is currently being clarified by the relevant services.
