Ukraine ranks among the world's top three in number of cyberattacks
Ukraine has ranked third in the world for the number of cyberattacks, becoming the leader in this metric in Europe. This is reported by cybersecurity analysts. Such statistics indicate that the digital infrastructure of our country remains a primary target for hackers at the international level.
According to the report, most attacks are aimed at government institutions, the energy sector, and critical infrastructure. Experts note that the methods used by malicious actors are becoming increasingly sophisticated. They use both malware and social engineering techniques to gain access to confidential data.
Ukrainian government agencies and private companies are constantly strengthening their protective measures. Cybersecurity specialists are actively cooperating with international partners to track the sources of attacks and minimize their consequences. Despite the high intensity of hacking attempts, most of them are detected and blocked in time.
Experts emphasize that cybersecurity today is an integral part of national security. Citizens and employees of institutions are advised to be especially vigilant: use complex passwords, two-factor authentication, and avoid opening suspicious links in emails.
