Ukrainian intelligence demonstrates North Korean missile debris to Japanese delegation
Representatives of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine held a meeting with a delegation from Japan. During the visit to Kyiv, Ukrainian specialists demonstrated to the foreign guests components of ballistic missiles that were manufactured in North Korea (DPRK).
The main purpose of this meeting was to provide evidence of the use of DPRK weapons during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Ukrainian intelligence officers provided Japanese experts with detailed information about the technical characteristics of these missiles and their features, which pose a serious security threat.
During the discussion, the experts emphasized the importance of international cooperation in studying the military technologies used by the aggressor country. The analysis of such components helps to better understand the methods of arms supply and the ways of circumventing international sanctions imposed against North Korea.
This visit underscores the close cooperation between Ukraine and Japan on issues of global security. Both sides continue to exchange important information to counter common challenges and strengthen defense capabilities in the modern world.
