New 'Tony' amphibious logistics all-terrain vehicle unveiled in Ukraine
Ukrainian developers have presented an innovative ground robotic complex (GRC) called "Tony." This vehicle was created specifically for carrying out logistics tasks in difficult conditions where standard equipment cannot pass.
The main feature of "Tony" is its ability to overcome water obstacles. Thanks to its amphibious design, the robot can move effectively both on land and in water. This significantly expands the possibilities for delivering cargo, including food, ammunition, or medical supplies to positions that are difficult for other transport to reach.
The development has compact dimensions and high cross-country capability, which allows it to be used in off-road conditions, marshy terrain, or during floods. The use of such robotic systems helps to reduce risks to personnel, as the complex is operated remotely.
Currently, specialists are continuing to test "Tony" in real-world conditions to verify the reliability of all components and systems. It is expected that after the completion of trials, this complex will become an important tool for meeting logistics needs in various sectors, including the defense sector and rescue operations.
The implementation of such technologies is an important step for the development of the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex. The use of unmanned systems is becoming increasingly relevant, as they allow dangerous tasks to be performed faster and more safely.
