Helsing appoints Andriy Shevchenko as head of its Ukrainian office
European defense technology company Helsing has officially announced the appointment of Andriy Shevchenko as Managing Director in Ukraine. The company is known for its developments in the field of artificial intelligence, which are used to increase the efficiency of defense systems.
Andriy Shevchenko has significant experience working in government structures. Previously, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine and was also a Member of Parliament. His experience in the field of security and public policy is considered an important asset for the development of the company's operations in the Ukrainian market.
Helsing specializes in creating software for military equipment, particularly for drones. The use of artificial intelligence allows drones to better navigate in electronic warfare conditions and more accurately carry out assigned tasks. Cooperation with such companies is part of Ukraine's strategy to modernize its own defense-industrial complex.
The appointment of the new head indicates the company's intention to strengthen its presence in Ukraine and establish closer cooperation with the defense sector. It is expected that Helsing's activities will help Ukrainian defenders receive modern technological solutions to counter the enemy on the battlefield.
