Poland assesses the impact of Ukrainian strikes on Russia's oil industry
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has expressed doubt regarding Russia's ability to increase fuel exports. According to him, this is due to the effective strikes by Ukrainian drones on Russian oil refineries.
Over the past few months, Ukraine has been actively attacking oil infrastructure facilities within Russian territory. These actions are aimed at reducing the financial resources that the Russian authorities use to fund the war against Ukraine.
The Polish minister noted that damage to key oil facilities significantly limits the aggressor's production capacity. This creates difficulties for the Russian economy, which is heavily dependent on the sale of energy resources on the global market.
Experts confirm that the shutdown of individual refineries is leading to fuel shortages within Russia itself and is forcing Moscow to seek alternative ways to supply the domestic market and meet export obligations.
The situation remains tense, as the energy sector is one of the primary targets for the strategic containment of Russian aggression. Ukraine's international partners continue to monitor the consequences of these operations for the global oil market.
