Kharkiv under fire: Red Cross provides aid to victims
Another enemy shelling of Kharkiv has resulted in destruction and civilian casualties. The city continues to suffer from regular attacks that cause damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. Rescue services and volunteers are working promptly at the impact sites.
Teams from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society arrived immediately at the scene to provide first aid. The organization's volunteers are assisting victims by providing necessary medical supplies and psychological support to those in a state of shock. Their work is critically important in the first hours following an attack.
In addition to medical assistance, Red Cross representatives are providing people with warm clothing, blankets, and food. Many residents have lost access to their homes due to the damage, so the organization is also helping to arrange temporary shelter for those left homeless.
The situation in Kharkiv remains tense, but rescue services continue to work in an enhanced mode. Local authorities are urging citizens not to ignore air raid sirens and to stay in safe places, as the danger of repeated strikes remains high.
