Over 74,000 Ukrainians received medical assistance from the Red Cross Society
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society has summarized its work for the first half of 2026. According to official data, the organization provided support to over 74,000 people through health strengthening and disease prevention programs.
The main goal of these initiatives is to ensure access to medical services and necessary information for citizens affected by the consequences of the war. Volunteers and specialists from the organization conduct regular activities that help people monitor their health in conditions of constant stress and limited access to hospitals.
The programs cover a wide range of services: from basic medical check-ups to educational work on preventing infectious and chronic diseases. Such support is critically important for vulnerable segments of the population, in particular for internally displaced persons and residents of frontline territories.
Thanks to the efforts of the Red Cross, thousands of Ukrainians were able to receive consultations and necessary assistance in a timely manner. The organization continues its activities, emphasizing the importance of prevention for preserving the nation's health during difficult trials.
Representatives of the Society note that they plan to continue expanding the geography of their projects to reach even more people in need of medical support and care.
