Ukraine and France strengthen cooperation in the field of air defense
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held important negotiations with President of France Emmanuel Macron. The main topic of the conversation was the strengthening of the Ukrainian air defense system, which protects Ukrainian cities from enemy attacks every day.
During the discussion, the leaders of the states reached an agreement on accelerating the supply of the latest French military equipment. This concerns, in particular, the transfer of modern missiles that will help Ukrainian defenders more effectively shoot down aerial targets and ensure the security of civilian infrastructure.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to his French colleague for his constant support and France's readiness to help Ukraine in its fight for independence. Both sides emphasized the importance of a quick response to the needs of the Ukrainian army in the context of active combat operations.
This cooperation is part of a broader partnership strategy between Kyiv and Paris. It is expected that the new arms deliveries will arrive in the near future, which will significantly strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities and help save more lives.
