The Future for Ukraine Foundation has launched a psychological support program for veterans' families
The Future for Ukraine charitable foundation has announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at helping Ukrainian defenders and their loved ones. The Mental Health program focuses on providing professional psychological assistance to the families of veterans who need support after the military personnel return to civilian life.
Foundation specialists emphasize that the process of veteran adaptation is a complex challenge not only for the soldiers themselves but also for their wives, husbands, and children. That is why the new program is designed to provide comprehensive assistance to all family members, helping them improve their relationships and overcome the consequences of stress.
Within the framework of the project, participants will be able to receive individual consultations with psychologists and psychotherapists. In addition, the organizers plan to hold group meetings where families can share their own experiences and receive support from people who find themselves in similar life circumstances.
According to foundation representatives, the main goal of the initiative is to create a safe space for mental health recovery. The program is free, and anyone who has veteran status or is a family member of a defender of Ukraine can join.
This initiative is an important step in the development of the veteran support system in our country. The organizers hope that professional help will assist families in returning to a stable life more quickly and strengthening their psychological resilience during this difficult time.
