Ukraine demands the closure of "Russian Houses" around the world
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has officially appealed to governments around the world, demanding that they terminate the activities of institutions known as "Russian Houses." The Ukrainian side emphasizes that these organizations are used by the Kremlin as tools to spread propaganda and support Russia's aggressive policies.
According to Ukrainian diplomats, "Russian Houses" often operate under the guise of cultural and educational centers. In reality, they are engaged in promoting the "Russian World" ideology, which justifies the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This poses a threat to the national security of the countries where these institutions are located.
Ukraine calls on the international community to be vigilant and not allow cultural platforms to be used for disinformation. Kyiv emphasizes that the activities of such centers contradict democratic values and international law, as they actively support the war against a sovereign state.
This appeal is part of Ukraine's broader strategy to counter Russian influence abroad. Official Kyiv hopes that foreign partners will support this initiative and close the representative offices that work for the benefit of the Russian propaganda machine.
