Ukraine and Uzbekistan work on simplifying medicine exports
Ukraine and Uzbekistan are discussing new ways to improve cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector. The main goal of the negotiations is to ensure a stable supply of medical products, which is critically important for the Ukrainian healthcare system under martial law.
The Ukrainian side has proposed introducing remote or hybrid formats for quality control of medicines. This will allow for significantly faster processing of documents and delivery of medications, avoiding delays that may arise due to the complex security situation.
Thanks to these changes, Ukrainian patients will be able to receive necessary medicines on time, and pharmaceutical companies will have the opportunity to work more efficiently. Simplifying procedures will help avoid drug shortages and maintain market stability during the war.
Currently, the parties continue to work out the details of the proposed mechanisms. It is expected that the implementation of the new rules will strengthen trade relations between the countries and ensure uninterrupted access to vital medical resources for the citizens of Ukraine.
