Finland strengthens Ukrainian air defense: new aid and ammunition for F-16s
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the receipt of new, important aid from international partners. Finland has officially handed over another support package to Ukraine, which is aimed at strengthening our country's air defense system.
According to the head of state, this step is part of the strategy to protect Ukrainian skies from enemy attacks. In addition to air defense systems, partners have also accelerated the supply of necessary resources for Ukrainian aviation. In particular, ammunition for F-16 fighter jets will arrive in Ukraine in the coming days.
Strengthening the aviation component and protecting airspace remain top priorities for Ukraine. Receiving new ammunition will allow for more effective use of the modern aircraft already in service with the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This assistance from Finland is a testament to the stable support from European countries. Ukraine continues to cooperate with international partners to ensure the protection of civilian infrastructure and cities from constant threats.
