Ukraine has received nearly 3 billion euros in financial aid from the EU
Ukraine has received another tranche of financial assistance from the European Union. On September 24, the EU Council officially approved a payment of 2.9 billion euros as part of the large-scale Ukraine Facility program.
These funds are part of long-term support aimed at stabilizing the Ukrainian economy during the war. The Ukraine Facility program provides for regular payments that help the government fund social expenditures, pay pensions, and support the operation of critical infrastructure.
Financial assistance from international partners remains extremely important for Ukraine. It allows the state to maintain macroeconomic stability and ensure the uninterrupted operation of government institutions, despite the difficult conditions of wartime.
Receiving these funds is a testament to the European partners' trust in Ukrainian reforms and the transparency of the use of budget money. The Government of Ukraine continues to work on fulfilling the program's conditions to ensure the continued inflow of funding in the future.
