Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda has arrived in Kyiv to participate in the solemn events marking the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine. The Lithuanian leader began his speech to those present in Ukrainian, which served as a symbolic gesture of support for the Ukrainian people.
During his visit, Gitanas Nausėda met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In his speech, the Lithuanian leader emphasized that Lithuania remains a reliable ally of Ukraine in the fight for independence and territorial integrity.
The President of Lithuania paid special attention to Ukraine's future in international organizations. He assured that Lithuania will continue to actively support Ukraine's European integration aspirations, as well as our state's path toward full NATO membership.
In addition to political support, Gitanas Nausėda discussed the issue of further assistance in restoring Ukrainian infrastructure. Lithuania is already participating in many reconstruction projects and plans to continue this cooperation in the future.
