Kremlin announces suspension of negotiations regarding the war in Ukraine
The issue of peace negotiations to end the war in Ukraine currently remains on pause. This was reported by Kremlin representatives, commenting on the current situation on the diplomatic front.
According to the Russian side, dialogue is impossible because Kyiv allegedly refuses to accept Moscow's terms. Russian officials claim that at this moment, there are no grounds for resuming constructive discussion.
Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly emphasized that any negotiations are possible only on the basis of respect for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty. Kyiv insists on the withdrawal of Russian troops from all occupied territories as the main condition for starting a dialogue.
Ukraine's international partners continue to support Kyiv's position, noting that peace must be just and lasting. Currently, diplomatic efforts are focused on strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and increasing sanctions pressure on the aggressor.
The situation remains tense, and active combat operations on the front continue. For now, neither side sees any real prospects for a quick diplomatic resolution to the conflict.
