NATO to help upgrade five rehabilitation centers for Ukrainian soldiers
A large-scale upgrade of the network of medical facilities specializing in the recovery of defenders has begun in Ukraine. The project is being implemented as part of the NATO Comprehensive Assistance Package, aimed at supporting the Ukrainian healthcare system during the war.
In total, there are plans to modernize five military rehabilitation centers. These facilities play a key role in helping service members return to a full life after sustaining injuries. The upgrade involves not only the renovation of premises but also equipping the centers with modern medical equipment necessary for effective therapy.
Thanks to international support, Ukrainian specialists will be able to implement the latest treatment and physical rehabilitation methods. This will help significantly improve the quality of services received by veterans and active-duty military personnel who require long-term recovery.
This initiative is part of a broader cooperation between Ukraine and the Alliance. Such projects demonstrate the importance of international assistance in strengthening the capacity of Ukrainian medicine and ensuring proper care for those who defend the country.
