International support for Ukraine: MFA meeting with a delegation of parliamentarians
On August 24, Ukraine's Independence Day, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevhen Perebyinis held an important meeting with a delegation from the global network of parliamentarians "United for Ukraine." This organization brings together politicians from various countries around the world who actively support our state in its fight for sovereignty and territorial integrity.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation in Ukraine and ways to strengthen international assistance. Special attention was paid to issues of security, infrastructure reconstruction, and further cooperation between the Ukrainian parliament and the legislative bodies of other countries. Representatives of the "United for Ukraine" network reaffirmed their readiness to continue advocating for Ukraine's interests on the international stage.
Yevhen Perebyinis thanked the foreign parliamentarians for their solidarity and constant attention to the problems Ukraine is facing. He emphasized that support from the international community is critically important for successfully countering the challenges caused by the war.
This visit served as further evidence that Ukraine is not alone in its struggle. Cooperation with international networks of parliamentarians helps to more effectively convey the truth about events in Ukraine to the global community and to mobilize the resources necessary to support the Ukrainian people.
