Ukraine has received a new tranche of financial aid from the European Union
Ukraine has successfully secured 2.9 billion euros from the European Union. These funds were received as part of the large-scale Ukraine Facility support program, which is aimed at ensuring the financial stability of our state during the war.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine announced the receipt of the financial aid. This money is part of a long-term cooperation strategy between Ukraine and the EU, which provides for regular support of the Ukrainian budget to fund social payments and infrastructure restoration.
The Ukraine Facility program was created to help Ukraine maintain its economy under martial law. The received funds will allow the government to fulfill its obligations to citizens on time, in particular by paying salaries and pensions, as well as supporting the operation of critical state institutions.
International financial aid remains one of the main tools helping Ukraine overcome economic challenges. The European Union continues to demonstrate solidarity with the Ukrainian people, providing the necessary resources for the stable operation of the state during this difficult period.
