Foreign and Ukrainian doctors perform free surgeries for victims in the Prykarpattia region
An important medical mission has begun in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, during which surgeons from the USA, Canada, and Ukraine have joined forces to help patients. The doctors are performing complex surgeries on people who have sustained severe facial injuries as a result of military actions or accidents.
The medical teams consist of experienced specialists with extensive expertise in reconstructive surgery. They have already successfully operated on the first patients, including both Ukrainian soldiers and civilians who have suffered during the war.
In addition to working in stationary medical facilities in Ivano-Frankivsk, the initiative includes the work of mobile teams. The doctors will visit three communities in the region to provide professional assistance to those who are unable to travel to the regional center on their own.
This medical mission is free for all patients. The collaboration between international specialists and their Ukrainian colleagues allows not only for the treatment of complex injuries but also for the exchange of experience in the field of modern surgery, which is extremely important for Ukrainian medicine in wartime conditions.
