After the Explosion in Vyshneve, Ukraine Will Launch Large-Scale Inspections of Defense Enterprises
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the start of large-scale inspections at defense sector enterprises. This decision was made following an emergency in the city of Vyshneve, where a powerful explosion occurred. The main goal of these measures is to guarantee the security of the country's strategic facilities.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and other law enforcement agencies will be involved in the inspections. Specialists are to conduct a detailed study of the operations of enterprises engaged in the production or storage of military products. Particular attention will be paid to compliance with safety regulations and protection against potential sabotage or technical accidents.
The situation in Vyshneve showed that security at such facilities is critically important during wartime. The authorities aim to prevent similar incidents in the future to protect both enterprise employees and local residents. The defense industry is currently operating in an intensified mode, so control must be as strict as possible.
The results of the inspections will help identify weak points in the defense complex's protection system. The President emphasized that every such facility must be reliably protected. The state continues to work on strengthening internal security to ensure the stable operation of the military industry.
