European Union to allocate over 2.8 billion euros to Ukraine for defense
The European Union has announced a new financial aid package for Ukraine. This time, the support amounts to 2.86 billion euros, which will be directed exclusively toward the defense needs of our state.
These funds are part of a large-scale aid program that the EU has been implementing since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022. During this period, the European Union and its member states have collectively provided Ukraine with support totaling 231.5 billion euros.
Financial assistance from European partners plays a critically important role in ensuring Ukraine's defense capabilities. The resources received allow for the support of military units and the provision of necessary equipment to protect the country's territorial integrity.
In addition to military support, the European Union continues to provide humanitarian and economic aid to Ukraine. The total volume of funding demonstrates the EU's stable position in supporting Ukraine amidst the ongoing war.
