Fuel Availability and 140 Billion for the AFU: Key Highlights

Ukraine will receive significant defense funding following the NATO summit, despite the exhaustion of resources among some partners. The government assures the stability of the fuel market, while the military implements new technologies at the front to protect territories.

There will be no fuel shortage in Ukraine, as the country is supplied with the necessary reserves. First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, following a meeting with market operators, stated that the authorities are working to protect fuel infrastructure. This means stable supplies at gas stations and no reason for queues or shortages for drivers.

At the NATO summit in Ankara, a decision was prepared for 140 billion in funding for the AFU over two years. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen emphasized that Ukraine urgently needs more air defense systems to protect against shelling. Although the Netherlands announced that its own capabilities for direct military aid have been exhausted, Ukraine continues to strengthen alliances by signing a new defense cooperation agreement with Denmark.

Technological advantage on the battlefield is being enhanced through the use of combat artificial intelligence (AI). AI systems help drones and control tools operate more efficiently by creating digital copies of the battlefield. The result of such work was the recent strike by the Unmanned Systems Forces on eight Russian tankers that were under international sanctions.
