Danish Prime Minister calls on partners to provide missiles for Ukraine's air defense
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has made an important appeal to Western countries. She emphasized the urgent need to provide Ukraine with additional missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
According to the head of the Danish government, protecting the Ukrainian sky is currently one of the top priorities for European security. Patriot systems play a key role in repelling Russian missile attacks, making the provision of ammunition for them a critical task for allies.
Denmark remains one of Ukraine's most active partners in the military sphere. The country has previously provided significant aid, including artillery, armored vehicles, and training for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets.
Mette Frederiksen's call underscores the unified position of many European states regarding support for Ukraine. It is expected that this appeal will encourage other NATO countries to review their stockpiles and accelerate the supply of necessary weaponry to protect civilian infrastructure and cities.
