UNDP announces grant program to support veterans and community development in Ukraine
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine has announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at supporting veterans. This project aims to help former military personnel successfully return to civilian life and integrate into society.
The main focus of the grant program is on the development of local communities. The organizers aim to create conditions under which veterans can not only receive the necessary assistance but also become active participants in the economic and social life of their cities and villages.
The program provides financial support for projects that promote professional training, the creation of new jobs, and the improvement of infrastructure for veterans. This is an important step toward ensuring decent living conditions for those who defended the country.
Details regarding application terms and selection criteria can be found on the official UNDP in Ukraine resources. The organization calls on public associations and local authorities to join the initiative to collectively build an inclusive environment.
This initiative is part of a broader international aid strategy aimed at the recovery of Ukraine. Supporting veterans remains one of the top priorities for international partners working on the stability and development of Ukrainian communities.
