Ukraine to receive regular shipments of Patriot missiles from the US
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced an important agreement with the United States of America. The countries have agreed on regular monthly shipments of missiles necessary for the operation of Patriot air defense systems.
Patriot systems play a key role in protecting the Ukrainian sky from Russian missile attacks. Thanks to these complexes, the Ukrainian military can effectively intercept ballistic targets and protect civilian infrastructure in many regions of the country.
Stable supplies of ammunition will allow for the strengthening of Ukraine's defense capabilities. Previously, the issue of missile shortages for air defense systems was one of the most acute, as the intensity of shelling by the Russian Federation remains high.
This agreement is part of broader support for Ukraine from Western partners. In addition to missiles, the US continues to provide various military aid aimed at strengthening security and protecting the civilian population.
It is expected that regular shipments will help Ukrainian air defense forces operate with greater confidence. This decision is an important step toward ensuring stability and security in Ukrainian airspace.
